Which CBD Product Should You Try First?

We know there are a lot of options when trying out CBD for the first time. Here is some info to help you better select a product:

CBD Oral Tinctures

Our CBD Oral Tinctures are a product many people are already familiar with. You simply place the recommended number of drops under your tongue and wait for it to dissolve. This is called taking the tincture "sub-lingually."

Sublingual administration is a particularly easy and efficient method for CBD administration. It’s effectiveness is somewhere between vaping and swallowing CBD. The effect is usually noticed within ~15 minutes.

To sublingually administer Delta products, use the included dropper to administer the required amount beneath the tongue and leave it there for 30-60 seconds. Consult the table below to select the correct Delta product for sublingual administration.

Correct dosage is as much a matter of practicality as it is about chemistry. We pioneered the “Pure CBD” standard. That is, with every Delta product, you know precisely how many milligrams of CBD are inside—no more, no less.

We developed the above table from empirical observations around consumer use. The real point of our increasing strengths is to make administration of Delta hemp easily fit into your daily routine.

For example, for a medium severity condition, rather than taking 6 dropperfuls of blue strength under the tongue, it is more appropriate to take 1 dropperful of the purple strength.

Of course, new Delta customers often do not know their optimal dosage or administration schedule (number of times a day). Consulting the chart above, we see that mild conditions are best served with green label products. Low to medium cases are best served with gold label products. What Does Delta Botanicals Do?

Is this CBD Isolate? Full Spectrum? Broad Spectrum?

Our Full Plant 0.0% THC is not the same as the term "Full spectrum" which you may see other companies use. "Full spectrum" means that it hasn't been processed to remove that last bit of THC. This is the cheap way out, and isn't the safest (see section below about THC).

We never use "CBD Isolate." While "Isolate" sounds like its very pure, what it means is they've removed all of the other beneficial compounds that help CBD work to its full potential. You don't want that, you want the benefits of the full hemp plant!

Our product can be compared to other "Broad Spectrum" products on the market, though we prefer the term "Full Plant"

Why 0.0% THC?

Even a little bit of THC can have an adverse mental effect. In addition, there are half a million THC overdoses per year. Our products won't cause that!

Without the THC, you are able to take CBD in a wide variety of doses, including high doses that would never be possible with products that contain CBD

Even though 0.3% THC is legally allowed in CBD, ours is 0.0% because in people who don't regularly smoke cannabis, even a small amount of THC can this adverse effect.
